Teaching Methods: Creative and Interesting

The observed teacher was committed to fostering an engaging learning environment. Instead of traditional drills, the class often used game-based learning, promoting quick decision-making, teamwork, and physical activity. 

Incorporating music and rhythmic movement into warm-ups made physical activities enjoyable and helped students improve coordination. The teacher also differentiated instruction; for example, during push-ups, students could opt to do them on their knees or against a wall, catering to varying fitness levels. Additionally, students were given choices in group formation and activities to encourage participation.




Learning Materials and Innovation: Technology Based

The PE class integrated technology extensively by using a TV instead of relying solely on verbal instructions. The TV displayed instructional videos that demonstrated proper techniques for various exercises and sports skills, which enhanced visual learning. Additionally, the teacher utilized apps like YouTube to show workout videos during warm-ups and class sessions, creating a more structured flow to the lessons.

Sources of Learning and Technology Used: Effective

The teacher used a variety of resources to create a well-rounded educational experience. The PE curriculum was aligned with school district learning standards to meet state mandates and was supplemented with additional materials to enrich classroom instruction. Students accessed instructional videos and completed exercises at home, enhancing their learning. This combination of technology and creative teaching strategies significantly boosted student engagement and accessibility.

Authentic Assessment: Various

The teacher used various authentic assessment strategies to evaluate student learning beyond traditional tests. One effective method was observing students' participation and skills during games, using checklists to assess technique and teamwork. 

Peer assessment played a key role as well, allowing students to rate each other's performance and provide feedback. This comprehensive approach provided a clearer view of student understanding and skill development, helping the teacher make informed decisions and offer individualized support.

Teaching Practices

 Procedures of your Teaching Before starting my lesson, I ask the students to pray first. After that, I Check attendant of the class.  We proceed with the motivation, it will help to warm up the students because they will be energized and won’t get sleepy. Before start the lesson We do an activity that will give them an idea of what will be our new lesson. Sometimes I use puzzles, “4  pics 4 group”. This is a great way to catch their attention and they will be interested in the topic. We start our lesson around 40 minutes and after discussion We do application it’s call dress me up is like small practice how to use equipment. And the last of period  I give them a short quiz just to make sure that they have fully understood and absorbed the lesson.
